Ouena treats donor funds with the utmosts care and works hard to provide impactful projects. We try to keep our overhead and transaction fees as low as possible. Historically less than 5% of your donation has gone to cover costs with the rest going directly towards funding projects on the ground in Palestine.
Ouena's area of focus is the Gaza Strip, Palestine. We do not currently operate in the West Bank or any of the refugee camps in the surrounding states.
We focus on humanitarian projects in the Gaza Strip. The scope of our projects is broad given the breadth of the need(s) on the ground in Gaza.
We operate on a community first approach. Our team works with Palestinian communities and financially insecure families to figure out what their needs are and how we can alleviate some of the challenges and burdens that they face.
Ouena has no political affiliations both on the domestic level in the US and on the international level.
Ouena is a 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt Nonprofit Organization. We are up to date on all our required filings and adhere to all US Government guidelines and regulatory requirements.
